Mubarak Islam Rashid
Vietnam veteran Rashid had been suffering for many years with the effects of Agent Orange died October 21, 2008 in Los Angeles of liver cancer.
The experience that he shared on the Arlington West film, and his selfless efforts of speaking in schools, have made many students conscious of the emotional and physical effects of wars. We honor him for his efforts for peace.
